Purpose of the Don and Ron Gunderson Scholarship:
In an effort to aid ad perpetuate the field of natural resource education, the Minnesota Conservation Federation has established a scholarship program. It is the intent of the Minnesota Conservation Federation to provide assistance to students who have chosen natural resource fields as their primary career goal.

Amount:
$1000 will be awarded to one student for tuition or book purchases only. The Minnesota Conservation Federation will reimburse the student after the student provides the Minnesota Conservation Federation with a paid fee statement from their college or university.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university located in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota.
• Applicants must either be an individual member of the Minnesota Conservation Federation or have an immediate family member who is a member of the Federation or one of its affiliate clubs.
• A current transcript from the student's college or university and a letter of recommendation are required with the application.

Deadline for sending in applications is June 15 of the current year. Selection will be determined by the Minnesota Conservation Federation scholarship committee by the end of July. The winning student is invited to the Minnesota Conservation Federation's Annual Assembly at the end of August for an official award presentation.

All information will be kept confidential and will be used by the Minnesota Conservation Federation scholarship committee only.
